Welfare

Recent studies show that only one in three people feel ‘very informed about their dog’s Five Welfare Needs: (Behaviour, Health, Companionship, Environment, and Diet). This means that owners with the best intentions often, albeit unintentionally, neglect their ‘best friends’ most basic needs.

Rescue Organisations

One of the saddest indictments of society is our throwaway culture, where dogs and cats are cast away without a second thought. Figures from Dogs Trust show that in 2019, over 47,500 dogs were abandoned in the UK. Many of these dogs ended up in council pounds and were later put down.

We work closely with rescue organisations to challenge social attitudes and encourage responsible dog ownership

Small Businesses

Did you know that at the start of 2019 there were 5.82 million Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME’s) in the UK, accounting for 99.9% of the business population?

There is no doubt that small businesses are the backbone of the British economy, many hard-working people depend on them to survive and to feed their families. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has shown exactly how susceptible they can be to global events.

By doing our bit to support other small businesses we hope to ensure the long-term survival of small businesses in the UK.

Environment

Did you know that average wildlife populations have dropped by sixty percent in little over four decades? Despite this growing climate crisis, many people remain indifferent. We, however, feel we feel duty-bound to shoulder some of the responsibility.
